Barrow Lighting Supply was founded in 1968 by J.B. “Benny” Barrow, who opened our original location on East Belknap Street just outside downtown Fort Worth. What began as a lighting supply shop for local electricians, maintenance teams, and businesses quickly grew into a trusted source for lighting and electrical across the region.

In 1989, Benny’s son, Brent Barrow took over as President and continued growing the company’s reach — adding more inventory, expanding relationships with builders, and deepening our commitment to quality and customer service.

Today, we’re still operating from our original offices and warehouse on East Belknap Street, proudly serving DFW as a family owned and operated business, just like we have for the last 55 years.
