Shipping Policy

At Barrow Lighting Supply, we’re committed to making the delivery process as smooth and efficient as possible. Whether you’re ordering for a residential project or a large commercial installation, our goal is to get your products to you safely, on time, and without surprises.


1. Shipping Areas

We currently offer:

  • Free local delivery within qualifying delivery zones in the Fort Worth TX area

  • Standard shipping throughout Texas and the continental United States

  • Freight delivery for oversized or commercial orders

If you’re outside our normal delivery areas, please contact our team to discuss shipping options.


2. Processing Times

  • In-stock items typically ship or are scheduled for delivery within 1–3 business days.

  • Special-order items or custom fixtures may take 7–21 business days, depending on manufacturer lead times.

  • Orders received after 3 PM CST are processed the next business day.

We’ll notify you if any items in your order are backordered or delayed.


3. Delivery Methods

Your order may arrive via:

  • Barrow Lighting Supply local delivery team

  • Standard carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS)

  • Freight / LTL carrier for large or heavy items

Some products may require curbside or dock delivery. Please notify us in advance if you need lift-gate services or inside delivery.


4. Shipping and Delivery Fees

  • Local delivery: Free on qualifying orders (minimum purchase amount may apply)

  • Standard parcel shipping: Calculated at checkout

  • Freight delivery: Quoted based on order size, weight, and destination

Any additional access fees (gated communities, restricted access locations, etc.) will be the responsibility of the customer.


5. Receiving Your Delivery

Please inspect all items upon arrival. If your order shows signs of damage:

  1. Note any visible damage with the delivery driver (if applicable).

  2. Take photos of the damaged packaging or product.

  3. Contact us within 48 hours at barrowlighting.com.

Failure to report damage promptly may affect eligibility for returns or replacements.


6. Backorders & Split Shipments

If part of your order is out of stock:

  • You may choose to wait for full shipment,

  • Or receive items as they become available.

We’ll provide estimated timelines before shipment and keep you updated.


7. Shipping Restrictions

  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

  • Some products (such as high-voltage items) may be subject to carrier restrictions.

  • International shipping is not available at this time unless previously arranged.


8. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with:

  • Tracking number

  • Carrier information

  • Estimated delivery date

Local delivery customers will receive an email or phone notification with their scheduled delivery timeframe.


9. Failed Delivery Attempts

If a delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address, lack of access, or unavailability:

  • Standard carriers may attempt delivery up to three times,

  • Local deliveries may require rescheduling and may incur an additional fee.
